Paradox Infinity

Today, we welcome another member. We accept LameFox, formally known as MCS, into Paradox Infinity. He joins a few other members in Paradox Infinity who have been long term community and game members. He is a great addition to a growing clan and we wish him the best in this new adventure of his Assault Cube career.

Paradox Infinity is on the upward growth, and with growth comes more responsibility. After some discussion, we introduce to you our first list of council members; Halo, Snoosnoo, ketar*, YesWeCamp, and Duckett will be the ones the lead Paradox Infinity into the future. It is a great honor to have these guys and their valued opinions to serve on our council.

We report today that with heavy heart we have to release two members for their behavior early on in the clan. Han.Solo and his brother W4rl0rd will no longer be playing with Paradox Infinity anymore. We are sorry to have to cut them and wish them the best in Assault Cube and real life and hope they find somewhere they fit in.

We also want to welcome Sup3rBiK3 to Paradox Infinity. Joining the large group of Italian players and carrying experience and a friendly attitude it truly is a pleasure to have Sup3rBiK3 join us. We welcome him with open arms and hope he enjoys his stay. Live to frag, frag to live.

These two brothers, Han.Solo and W4l0rd join our ever growing ranks in Pi! Hailing from Belgium, they expand our quest for world domination! Give them a warm welcome, fellow members, and all! <3

A massive welcome to two of our most recent members, Lefa and Bugboy1028!

After a while of waiting, Lefa, from France, joins the ranks, who was even able to put Halo on his feet! A great addition to our clan! We’re happy to have you here!

Also Bugboy1028 from USA, has been active in AC for a while now, and we’re more than happy to accept him here! Here’s hoping you have a wonderful time here, with less drama than your previous clans!

Give them a warm welcome, guys!

Hey guys. The other day Halo, Mr.Smith and me had a little meeting on IRc to discuss what to do to improve as a clan. We had a few – not so special (I admit) – ideas. We’d like to organize an internal tournament (Pi members only), but we know that even a simple thing like this needs a lot of organization and presence. What is more, Halo and Mr. Smith will be very busy in the next two months, so this is not probably the best moment.

Apart other possible ideas – not involving the game (I do remember we still have the song project… my bad I still did not start that) – we thought that would be nice to have at least some matches together. So we could set a day (and a hour) in the week and have a rendez-vous with whoever is available…

Please let us know your availability (givin’ a couple of options) so that we can a set the better moment for all of us. Of course this doesn’t imply any obligation

On the the other hand if anybody has ideas or proposals about things to do together, please share them!  The discussion continues here! (members only).

And if you like pasta you probably know that he rhymes with ragu. Yessss. Another italian player now proudly wear the Pi_ tag. Along with Halo and MrSmith we have in Batmagoo a new excellence, that will contribute to rise our frag ratio. The terrific Batmagoo’s smg is a lethal weapon: I simply succumb whenever I meet him, so testing him was a pure formality. Furthermore as ex-IAF he is also well known for his loyalty and fairplay: values that Pi_ strongly support. We give a hug and a great welcome to him: join the chorus and shout your welcome to our tenth member!

Our greatest welcome to Corvetti (translation= little crowns), the new member of Pi_clan. Beware he is a crow, not a pidgeon. You will not make a fool of him easily. By the way, he is Sicilian, this means that if you see him with a shotgun, it is not a noobish actitude: that’ s a “family” tradition!!!

And if you hear him screaming and yelling in a strange language, it is not the language of birds: it is pure (or better impure) italian, even if it is often untranslatable. But no worries: crows croak when they have fun!!!

 

Corvetti leave us a flag!

After some weeks of waiting and dealing with his application process, SnooSnoo has joined the Paradox Infinity group. He brings with him some years of AC experience as well as mapping experience. He joins us from the world we know as England. We are happy to have him among us and wish him good luck in his future AC career with us.

If you go to TripAdvisor this is what they say about Lainio. But we are not here to marry! We prefer the fragparty. So no need to take a plane (and then probably a dog sled) to reach the charming snow village of Lainio: the new map called Lainio and made by Halo is out!

I was playing on the {Bob}Marley server run by “mi amigo” Perros and the map appeared. Halo did show it to me some days ago, but now that is finished I must say it is a masterpiece. It happened to me to visit maps that were not yet released, and I must admit I am not very good in understanding a map from the beginning, but on this one I had no doubt. So now I give you an honest report of the reactions I noticed. When we were playing many people asked who did this map and many of them started shouting.

Honestly I never saw such an enthusiastic reaction. I could take only one shot, but believe me, the consensus was wide and very positive. And spontaneous, above all.

I was enough proud but when the game ended end the new map charged I was more then astonished to see that some people was praying on their knees to have it again.

In two (or three??) years I am in AC I never saw such a positive reaction to a new map.  What else to say?
